To access most of these resources, you must be logged in to the library website.
You can share video and audio in Zoom, including DVDs or video clips on your computer or through streaming platforms like Netflix (let us know if you need support).
Kanopy is a mediated database, so everything you see when you log in is something we've manually activated. There is more available, but you must request it (reach out to email@example.com to discuss). We pay $120 for one year of access to each film, so our policy is to only activate films that your entire class will watch.
If you have a Providence Public Library (or Brooklyn/NYPL) membership, you can also access Kanopy through that account, and watch up to 8 films per month for free!
We regret that we cannot make DVDs available online, both due to technology restrictions and copyright law.
Provides access to over 6,000 educational documentaries arranged by collection. Subjects include arts, business, health, media, sciences, humanities and education. (Kanopy is a mediated database, meaning titles must be requested for purchase.)
