The RISD Archives collects publications created by, for, and about the RISD community. Major collections include course catalogs, Museum Bulletins  and exhibition catalogues, student newspapers, yearbooks, and magazines, Alumni publications, administrative newsletters, scrapbooks, and accreditation reports. All publications are recorded in the Archives bibliographic database that documents author, title, publisher, place of publication, date, location within the Archives, and type of publication. Publications and reports located in administrative files are included in the database. Titles are added to the database as the Archives staff processes collections.
