Getting Started

This guide is designed to review material that was presented during the library instruction session for HPSS S101 Excavating Women.  It provides links to resources which were discussed in class, as well as others which we did not have time to cover.

Remember: If you need more help please contact us at the reference desk.  You can stop by, call us at: 401-709-5902, or email us at risdlib@risd.edu

Finding More

The RISD Library focuses on collecting materials on and related to visual arts, as such we may not have all the information you need for this particular project.

Brown library houses a much broader collection of books, and online materials.  Expand your research by searching in Brown Library Catalog: Josiah.

Brown also subscribes to a much larger array of databases and other online materials.  A complete listing can be found on their e-resources page. Scroll down for subject listings, and note sections on Anthropology, and History (America)
