Evelyn Nowack Poehler, Lowthorpe '32, designed the gardens of Wethersfield Farm, Amenia, NY, for Chauncey Stillman. The bulk of the approximately 108 drawings document her designs for the classical gardens at Wethersfield. There are a small number of drawings for private residences, primarily in Connecticut. Also included are drawings by her husband, architect George F. Poehler. This is the first collection of Lowthorpe alumnae drawings collected by the Archives.
