Visiting

Never visited Fleet Library before? We'd love to have you. You will need to stop by the Public Safety booth at the entrance of our building (15 Westminster) and show your CE registration. The library is on your right upon entering the building's main hallway.

CE students are encouraged to utilize on-site access to the library's Collections, Research Help, and Online Databases.

Some collections (such as our circulating books, databases and Visual & Material Resource Center) can be used without a reservation. To view Special Collections or Archives materials, please make an appointment. You may also request research help in advance by emailing researchhelp@risd.edu.

Borrowing

Registered CE students may pay $25 for one year of borrowing access to the Library.
Contact our Circulation Department to set up borrowing access. You will need to show proof of your current enrollment in a CE course.

Loan Period: 5 books for 4 weeks, 1 renewal via My Record

Note: RISD CE borrowing does not include RISD Media, Brown or Athenaeum Library privileges. A CE library account does not include remote (off campus) login to use our online databases. You may use these resources while visiting the library in person.
