FLEET LIBRARY GIFT POLICY

The Fleet Library at Rhode Island School of Design welcomes and encourages gifts and contributions that support and strengthen the development of our collections. We are deeply grateful to all of our donors who have generously given books and other library materials over the years, and we appreciate your diligence in following our gift procedure:

• After reviewing the Fleet Library Gift Policy, please complete the Donor Record Form, which includes a list of the materials you wish to donate. Large donations may make it difficult to list all materials, in which case we ask for an estimated number of items and a sample list of titles. We regret that the Library is not able to accept drop-offs of gifts unless prior arrangements have been made. 
• If you are a RISD graduate with published work you would like included in our new Fleet Library at RISD Alumni Collection, please be sure to include your degree, department and year of graduation in the third section of the Donor Record Form. Note that the collection does NOT include books or exhibition catalogs about alumni, but only books alumni have contributed to in some way, whether as an author, designer, illustrator, etc.
