RISD provides online access to the Chicago Manual of Style. It is searchable! There's also a very helpful Turabian citation Quick Guide.
We also keep a hard copy in the Reference section of the library. Don't hesitate to ask us questions at the Research Help Desk, either.
See this guide for help with image citation. Typically, if you include multiple images in your paper or presentation, you should also create a list of figures/images at the end.
Use a free tool like Zotero (which is super useful) or even a simple document to keep track of citations for anything you read. You'll thank yourself later!
Fleet Search can automatically create citations and send them directly to your email. If you normally use bookmarks, DO NOT use them to keep track of things in Fleet Search - they will break. Instead, send yourself a link to the article and citation, or use the "Permalink" button to create a stable link.
