The E-Journals Index is a fantastic tool for searching and browsing our periodical holdings (magazines and journals).

It enables you to:

• Browse for periodicals by topic
• Search for periodicals by title
• Search inside of specific periodicals
• Determine whether specific titles are available digitally
  • Click "Full Text Access"
  • If it says "RISD Print Holdings," it is in the library in hard copy
  • If it links to a database or publisher, it is available online (within the dates shown)!

Can't find what you need in E-Journals Index? Here are some other options:

• Visit Brown University Libraries
• Make an article request via Interlibrary Loan
• Suggest a new subscription to us
  • This is a great way for us to learn what faculty are interested in. The process is slow and we can't always honor requests. If you need access to journal articles quickly, use one of the above methods.
