Access to the Library

Brown University Libraries and RISD's Fleet Library have resumed our reciprocal relationship. Vaccinated RISD students, staff and faculty will be allowed to visit Brown's libraries and access their on-site visitor computers. Instructions for access can be found here. Please note: Brown's e-resources (databases and ebooks) are temporarily NOT accessible to us. Contact Fleet Library for more info and please make use of Interlibrary Loan.

Who can visit Fleet Library in Fall 2021?

What else do I need to know?

  • Like the rest of RISD campus, we are requiring masks.
  • An appointment is recommended for use of library scanners
  • Printing is no longer available at Fleet Library. See the ITS website for printing locations on campus.
  • Reservations for library classrooms can be requested through 25Live.
  • Comprehensive information for faculty can be found here
