Color: Theory, Terminology, Science, and Symbolism: Intro

A resource guide exploring the many facets of color

About the circulating Color Book Collection

This guide and the ongoing collection development of the first floor's color book collection began in 2008 when Bill Miller of the Painting department first requested a library workshop on color resources. Since then the collection has grown to over 400 physical titles in addition to numerous ebooks, and specialized print and online reference sources. Questions about color are one of the most frequent type of questions students, faculty, staff and outside researchers ask our Research & Instruction Librarians.
