Depending on its age and condition, a thesis is physically stored in one of three places in the library. Look for LOCATION in the catalog record to determine where it's kept.

• RISD REF. Masters' Theses   1st Floor / Mezzanine
  The most recent 3-5 years of theses are shelved here. Located on the Mezzanine of the 1st Floor Reading Room, this is a browsable collection with a dedicated study area.

• RISD Storage Masters' Theses  Basement Storage
  Fill out a Storage Request form at the Circulation Desk or Research Help Desk on the 1st Floor of the library.
  Available during 1st Floor Hours
   
• RISD Archives  2nd Floor / Special Collections & Archives Reading Room
  From the 15 West lobby, take elevators 5 or 6 to the 2nd Floor and follow the signs.
