The Fleet Library is located in 15 West and spans two floors and a mezzanine (balcony) level. The entrance to 15 West includes a ramp and automatic doors (with keycard entry).
Once inside 15 West, there are elevators to access the second floor. The main reading room on the first floor has a lift for access the mezzanine. Please ask for assistance with this lift if you would like to access current periodicals, zines, or the thesis collection.
There are two accessible, single stall, gender-neutral restrooms located on the first floor of the building, in Portfolio Cafe. On the second floor, men's and women's restrooms each have an accessible stall.
For assistance retrieving items out of reach in the stacks, please ask the library staff.
There are several computers that are wheelchair accessible behind the study pavilion, adjacent to the circulation desk, and near the research help desk.
Most work spaces and all classrooms within the Library are accessible. Classrooms may be reserved at schedule.risd.edu
