VPN streamlines your remote access to online library resources and allows you to bypass the library login process. IT Services provides virtual private networking (VPN) software that allows you to join the RISD network remotely. We recommend this for anyone who is regularly using library databases from off-campus!

How it works:

1. Install the GlobalProtect software

2. Connect to GlobalProtect on your computer before you begin your online searches

3. Visit the library website to use FleetSearch and access all Databases A-Z

4. As a security measure, disconnect GlobalProtect when you're finished searching
