Check-out item limits:

RISD students, faculty, staff:  200 items

Alumni, Brown:  100 items

Pre-college:  20 items

Summer studies:  40 items

Loan period:  4 weeks, renewable

To prevent the loss of any particular subject area, we have a subject limit of 60 or no more than half a subject folder.  You many not check out an entire folder of any part of the collection.

Lost/damaged item fees:  $2.00 per clipping, $5.00 per mounted print.

Please do not use permanent double stick tape on clippings, and do not use any kind of tape on unlaminated items.  Please avoid pushpins or tacks.  If you need to display items, we ask that you use poster putty or removable artist tape.
